According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal incident happened at about near Clay Mine Road in North Edwards around 5:36 a.m.

Reports say that a fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on eastbound Highway 58.

Authorities say that the incident which temporarily blocked all lanes of the highway. By 7:26 a.m., authorities reopened the second lane.
