Unidentified Person Dead in Sacramento Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 4, 2020) – Early Friday morning, a pickup truck and motorcycle crash killed an unidentified person on Highway 99 in Sacramento.
 
According to police reports, the motorcycle crash occurred just before 5:30 a.m. just past the southbound Highway 50 to 99 connector.
 
The fatal crash occurred between a pickup truck and a motorcycle. The authorities haven’t determined the circumstances that led up to the crash at this time.
 
However, the California Highway Patrol confirmed that one person sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
 
The surrounding area on southbound Highway 99 near Broadway was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigation/duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic just after 7:00 a.m.
 
Moreover, the Caltrans advised drivers to expect traffic delays in the area following the crash.
 
Due to lack of details, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. Once available, further information regarding the collision will be released the to public.
