Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Highway 37 Kills Woman [Vallejo, CA]

Vallejo, CA (May 24, 2025) Early Friday morning, a 37-year-old Sacramento woman was killed in a horrific pedestrian crash on Highway 37.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened at about 3:18 a.m. on eastbound Highway 37.

Reports say that the woman died after a big-rig struck her.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a pedestrian walking near the Sacramento Street overcrossing.

Before officers arrived, a 2017 Peterbilt tractor-trailer hit the woman. The 54-year-old San Pablo driver was unharmed.

Authorities ruled out DUI and continue to investigate the incident.
