Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Construction Van on Santa Monica Freeway Off-Ramp
Los Angeles, CA (May 10, 2025) – A horrific pedestrian crash on Highway 10 early Saturday morning claimed the life of a person.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal accident happened along the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway’s San Pedro Street off-ramp.
Reports say that a construction van fatally struck a pedestrian walking along the freeway.
CHP officers arrived at the scene around 12:30 a.m. and discovered the pedestrian near the bottom of the off-ramp.
Authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Details regarding the vehicle involved remain unavailable as the investigation continues.
