Salmon Creek, WA (March 7, 2025) – A deadly pedestrian crash on 29th Avenue led to the death of a person Tuesday evening.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal incident happened at the intersection of Northeast 29th Avenue and 147th Street at 9:38 p.m.

Reports say that a Toyota Tundra struck a pedestrian Tuesday night in Salmon Creek, leading to fatal injuries.

Deputies responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying face down in the roadway but still breathing.

Emergency responders transported the victim to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, where they later died.

The driver of the Toyota Tundra remained at the scene, called 911, and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities reported no signs of impairment. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the pedestrian’s identity, cause, and manner of death.

The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit continues to investigate the incident.
