Deadly Crash on Spanaway Loop Road Kills 22-Year-Old Woman [Spanaway, WA] 

Injuries Reported in Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on Spanaway Loop Road South

Spanaway, WA (March 16, 2023) – On Wednesday afternoon, a deadly crash on Spanaway Loop Road South claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman.

According to deputies, the fatal 2-vehicle crash happened 12100 block of Spanaway Loop Road South at around 1:59 p.m.

Reports said that the 22-year-old female driver was on a northbound Mini Cooper that collided with a GMC Sierra. 

Pierce County Sheriff’s office say that the woman was passing othewr vehicles, and was moving into the center two-way turn lane. Consequently, the GMC truck was also in the center lane.

Both drivers attempted to avoid collision at the same time, however veered in the same direction and collided head-on. 

Authorities pronounced the female driver dead on the scene, while her 19-year-old boyfriend suffered serious injuries, and fortunately, her 1-year-old child was not hurt.

Meanwhile, there is no word on the GMC drivers condition at this time.
