Deadly Collision Near South 126th Street Claims a Life [Skyway, WA]

Skyway, WA (May 21, 2025) – A woman was tragically struck after a deadly collision near South 126th Street early Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. near South 126th Street and Renton Avenue South.

Reports say that King County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a pedestrian collision

When deputies arrived, they found the woman unresponsive. Medics attempted to assist, but she was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m.

A drug recognition expert determined the driver was impaired at the time of the crash.

Authorities arrested the driver for vehicular homicide and booked him into King County Jail.

The King County Sheriff’s major accident response and reconstruction team investigated the scene.
