Deadly 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 Kills Man [Las Vegas, NV]

Las Vegas, NV (May 17, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, a 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 left a man dead and 3 others were injured.

NSP says that the fatal multi-vehicle collision happened around 2:38 p.m. in the area of I-15 northbound, south of Cheyenne Avenue.

Reports say that the collision involved 2 white Nissan vans were behind a black Dodge minivan.

Officials say that a white Nissan failed to reduce speed causing a collision with the other white van. The impact of the crash caused the 2nd van to move forward and struck the rear of the black Dodge minivan.

Authorities say that the male driver of the 1st Nissan suffered serious injuries and was transported to UMC Trauma in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

Medics also transported the male driver of the black minivan, along with a female passenger to UMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Additionally, the other Nissan driver suffered moderate injuries, but was not transported.

Nevada State Police is investigating the fatal multi-vehicle collision.
