1 Dead and 3 Injured in Clayton Accident on Highway 395
CLAYTON, CA (September 3, 2020) – Friday afternoon, 56-year-old David Robison died in a multi-car crash on Highway 395.
The three-car head-on crash happened at about 5:20 p.m. on Highway 395 near Williams Valley Road. As a result of the crash, 56-year-old David Robison of Spokane suffered fatal injuries. Moreover, the crash also fully shut down the southbound lane of Highway 395.
WSP revealed that David Robison attempted to enter the highway at Williams Valley Road. However, Andrea K. Hansen of Chewelah driving a southbound car hit Robison. Then, Hansen’s vehicle hit a Deer Park teenager driving a northbound pickup truck.
The crash left Hansen, her 15-year-old passenger, and the Deer Park Drive with injuries. Thus, responders transported all of them to Providence Holy Family Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, responders treated another teenager in Hansen’s car at the crash scene.
According to WSP investigators, alcohol didn’t play a role in the crash. Meanwhile, the authorities confirmed that all involved parties wore their seatbelts.
Due to the crash, the WSP units administered a detour through Clayton due to the road closure caused by the crash.
Sweet Lawyers extends our condolences to the family and community of David Robison.
