David Kuffler Airlifted to Hospital After Big Rig Accident on Highway 108

Jamestown, CA (October 27, 2020) – On Monday, 32-year-old David Kuffler of Sonora was injured in a pedestrian accident on Highway 108.

Moreover, CHP Sonora Unit Officer Steve Machado says, the accident happened on Highway 108 near Rawhide Road, where a man was down by the side of the road.

Furthermore, rescuers took Kuffler to a Modesto hospital via helicopter with serious injuries.

Afterward, authorities say that they found the driver of the big rig, Oscar Gonzales Jr. of Delhi.

Additionally, reports say that the big rig is a 2021 International truck and trailer.

Meanwhile, Gonzales says he is unaware that he hit the victim and so he did not stop at the scene.
