David Kok Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 84 [WOODSIDE, CA]

Motorcyclist David Kok Fatally Struck by Another Rider on Highway 84 at Skyline Boulevard

 
WOODSIDE, CA (January 25, 2020) – A man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in San Mateo County.
 
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. on westbound Highway 84, also known as La Honda Road, just west of Skyline Boulevard.
 
According to the CHP, the man was riding on his motorcycle when he lost control on wet pavement and fell off his bike. The bike went into the opposite lane and struck a westbound white van.
 
The downed motorcyclist was then hit by one of his two companions riding behind him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Saturday as 51-year-old David Kok of Santa Clara.
 
The accident remains under investigation.
