Escondido Crash Fatally Injures David Cisneros

Escondido, CA (October 13, 2021) – On Sunday, 72-year-old David Cisneros of Escondido dies in a hit-and-run crash on East Valley.

The fatal crash took place on Saturday at about 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block area.

Investigating officers said the driver of a white Mercedes-Benz sedan struck Cisneros as he crossed the street on his mobility scooter.

Emergency responders took the victim to Palomar Medical Center, where he died early Sunday morning.

The involved motorist on the other hand, immediately fled the accident scene after the crash.
