Christopher Davila Faces Charges in San Antonio Fatal Collision
San Antonio, TX (May 30, 2023) – On Monday, 22-year-old Darion Hendrick-Escobedo lost his life while 39-year-old Christopher Davila is facing charges following a Highway 90 wrong-way crash.
It was about 1:15 a.m. when the fatal crash happened just before Highway 211 in West Bexar County.
The authorities investigating the accident said Davila was driving a truck on the wrong side of the road and struck a small car driven by Hendrick-Escobedo.
Immediately, the medical team who responded to the scene rushed Hendrick-Escobedo to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Davila sustained injuries and was also taken to the hospital. The two children in the back seat of Davila’s truck incurred minor injuries.
Moreover, the BCSO evaluated Davila for DWI by BCSO. He is facing multiple charges including intoxication and manslaughter.
Officers are still investigating the San Antonio fatal collision.
