Dannon Santiago Dead in Long Beach Bicycle Crash on Orange Avenue
LONG BEACH, CA (July 27, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, 30-year-old Dannon Santiago died in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Orange Avenue.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the bicyclist rode south on Orange Avenue. However, a southbound vehicle then struck him, and immediately fled the scene.
Officers responded at around 3:30 a.m near Del Amo Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they found the bicyclist lying in the southbound lane of Orange Avenue. Moreover, medical responders declared him dead at the scene.
“At this time, there is no description of the suspect vehicle,” police stated.
