LAS VEGAS, NV (November 24, 2020) – On Sunday, a crash on Durango Drive and Flamingo Road killed Daniel Medrano in Las Vegas, Nevada.
According to authorities, the incident that closed Durango Drive for several hours occurred at around 9:25 p.m.
Reports revealed that a Mercedes driven by a 56-year-old man struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the street outside a marked crosswalk.
Responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Clark County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as 34-year-old Daniel Medrano.
The driver involved stayed at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
Authorities do not believe that impairment was a factor in the Durango Drive crash.
