Daniel Holcomb Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Motorist on Grandview Road Near Atwood Road

 
FERNDALE, WA (December 21, 2018) – A Ferndale man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Grandview Road near Atwood Road early Thursday.
 
Daniel W. Holcomb was identified as the 51-year-old Ferndale man who was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle around 3:27 a.m. While walking westbound on Grandview Road near the 5 Freeway northbound exit, the 51-year-old man was struck from behind. The driver of the car fled the scene, leaving Holcomb with grave injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by authorities.
