Barstow, CA (January 10, 2023) On December 31, 43-year-old Daniel Ambriz of Barstow sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 15.

Officials say that the deadly traffic collision happened south of East Main Street at around 2:16 a.m.

Responding officers pronounced Ambriz dead at the scene at 2:29 a.m.
