Two Separate Collisions Reported near Highway 4

 
HERCULES, CA (April 4, 2019) – Damages were sustained in separate accidents on westbound 80 Freeway, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collisions took place at approximately 6:01 AM, just west of Highway 4. Based on an initial report, there were two incidents reported in the area. The first one involved two cars, and the second one involved four vehicles.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that no one was hurt in both accidents.
 
The No. 1 and 2 lanes were closed while clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area.
 
There is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors that led to the crashes. No additional information has been released to the public.
