Van Overturned in Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Las Pulgas Road

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (June 6, 2019) – Damages were sustained in a multi-car crash on 5 Freeway, early Thursday afternoon.
 
According to reports, the accident took place near the Las Pulgas Road on-ramp around 1:04 PM. First responders arrived to the area on the southbound lanes of 5 Freeway shortly after.
 
Based on an initial report, three vehicles were involved in the collision. A white sedan cut another vehicle off, which caused the commotion. A dark van was also found overturned upon officers arrival.
 
The paramedics were also called to the scene for needed medical attention. However, they confirmed that the victims involved remained uninjured.
 
State officials also requested towing services due to the extent of wreckage. However, the extent of damages sustained is still under investigation at this time. In addition, the authorities conducted a clearing operation in the area.
