Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Collision near Canal Street

 
KING CITY, CA (March 3, 2019) – Damage was sustained in a hit-and-run crash on southbound Highway 101, Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 1:58 PM, just north of Canal Street. Based on an initial report, one sedan spun out and crashed against the right shoulder wall. The other involved car left the scene exiting Broadway.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They said that no injury was sustained in the accident.
 
The amount of damage was being assessed. A clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. The authorities are also working to identify and locate the hit-and-run motorist. Additional information has yet to be released.
