Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Grant Street

CONCORD, CA (December 8, 2018) – Damage was sustained in a crash on southbound Highway 242, Saturday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:22 PM, just north of Grant Street. Based on their report, two vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a red Jeep and a Chevrolet Malibu. The Chevy overturned and landed on its wheels not making contact with the Jeep.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They did not release any report regarding the condition of the involved motorists.

The Chevy acquired damage to its left side due to impact. A clearing operation was conducted in the area immediately after the incident.
