Yacolt Man Dallsen McClung Involved in Deadly Crash on Highway 500 [Clark County, WA]

Clark County, WA (December 29, 2024) –  Dallsen McClung, 20, of Yacolt, was involved in a deadly crash on Highway 500 late Friday afternoon.

It was around 5 p.m. when the deadly pedestrian accident happened near 199th Avenue in Proebstel.

According to the investigators, McClung was westbound on the freeway when his vehicle struck a 53-year-old Vancouver man who was standing in the westbound lane.

Afterward, McClung’s vehicle struck a tree and rested in a ditch. 

The Vancouver man lost his life at the crash scene.

McClung, who was wearing a seatbelt, did not sustain injuries from the accident.

Meanwhile, the authorities are conducting a further investigation into the collision.
