CALISTOGA, CA (March 14, 2023) – Sunday night, Cynthia Throm and others suffered major injuries in a crash on Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane.

The incident happened at around 5:13 p.m. on Highway 128 near Tubbs Lane.

A westbound 2020 Hyundai Palisade and an eastbound 2020 Honda CR-V crashed near Tubbs Lane, CHP spokesperson Jaret Paulson revealed.

As a result, four occupants in the SUVs, two in each vehicle, suffered major injuries.

After the crash, responders transported Hyundai’s driver, 63-year-old Cynthia Throm of Brookings, Oregon, and her passenger Dennis Throm, 77, to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Meanwhile, an ambulance transported Megan Turner, a 32-year-old Santa Rosa resident driving the Honda, to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa. Also, they transported an 8-year-old girl riding in the SUV to the hospital.

Moreover, the authorities closed Highway 128 in both directions for about an hour after the collision.
