Crashes, Walks Out of Vehicle and Killed by Two Vehicles in Highway 50 Crash

 
El Dorado, CA (August 7, 2020)– Two vehicles fatally struck a wrong-way driver named Crystal Mora in a crash on Highway 50 on Thursday morning.
 
The tragic incident occurred on August 6 around 4:15 a.m. on Highway 50.
 
According to the report, the woman was traveling the eastbound side of Highway 50 in the wrong direction. Suddenly, she swerved off the roadway and rolled down a sheer embankment.
 
Officers reported that the woman, now known as Ms. Mora, tried to get out of the overturned car. Then, she ran onto the road when two vehicles reportedly struck her.
 
Crystal Mora died at the scene, as a result.
 
Meanwhile, both drivers of the vehicles involved stayed in the scene for the investigation.
 
Due to the extent of the crash, the westbound lanes of Highway 50 were closed from El Dorado Hills Boulevard. However, by 7 a.m., the road was reopened for the traffic.
