1 Teen Hurt in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Rosamond Boulevard and 40th Street West
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 30, 2024) – Saturday night, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Rosamond Boulevard and 40th Street West injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:24 p.m. on Rosamond Boulevard and 40th Street West.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two unidentified vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders rushed a 17-year-old boy to Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition. Also, authorities confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that intoxication played a role in the crash.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
