TACOMA, WA (May 11, 2023) – Early Tuesday evening, a crippling single-vehicle crash on Portland Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident involving 1 vehicle occurred on Portland Avenue between East 48th and East 51st streets.

According to reports, the incident seriously injured at least one person.

Meanwhile, the crash also closed all lanes of the arterial between East 48th and East 51st streets.

Tacoma Police spokesperson Wendy Haddow revealed that a vehicle with two occupants overturned during the crash. Then, the impact ejected both occupants.
