Injuries Reported in Santa Clara Auto Accident on Lafayette Street and Bellomy Street

SANTA CLARA, CA (September 4, 2023) – Saturday morning, a crippling single-vehicle crash on Lafayette Street and Bellomy Street injured 2 people.

The incident happened just before 5:45 a.m. on Lafayette Street and Bellomy Street, said Lt. Mike Crescini with the Santa Clara Police Department.

According to Crescini, officers found a car with three occupants which appeared to have hit “a fixed object.” Then, first responders transported two of the three people to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Also, the authorities asuspect that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
