Injuries Reported in La Habra Auto Accident on Cypress Road and Lambert Road
LA HABRA, CA (February 11, 2024) – Friday night, a crippling pursuit crash on Cypress Road and Lambert Road injured 2 people.
The incident began with a chase at about 10:30 p.m. when an officer responded to an erratic driver near Harbor Boulevard and Whittier Boulevard.
As they tried to conduct a traffic stop, the driver fled and the pursuit began down Cypress Street from Whittier Boulevard.
Then, when the pursuit crossed Cypress Road and Lambert Road, the officer struck a civilian vehicle and the pursuit was ended.
Afterward, the police officer and the civilian driver were transported to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, a K9 officer inside the patrol vehicle suffered no injuries in the crash.
Also, the driver being chased continued to flee and escaped the scene following the crash.
