Injuries Reported in Placer County Pedestrian Accident on Lincoln Way and Foresthill Road
PLACER COUNTY, CA (December 25, 2023) – Saturday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on Lincoln Way and Foresthill Road injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Lincoln Way and Foresthill Road.
According to reports, a driver of a silver 2002-2006 Infiniti G-35 sedan headed east on Lincoln Way toward Foresthill Road. However, they struck a man who just crossed Lincoln Way.
The impact left the pedestrian with major injuries, including a broken pelvis, broken right ankle, and lacerations to his head and face. Thus, responders took him to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
When the CHP obtained surveillance video footage, they determined that the driver continued at a high rate of speed on Lincoln Way after the crash. Footage also revealed that the vehicle had minor damage to the front grille.
