Injuries Reported in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Charleston Boulevard and Commerce Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 17, 2023) – Monday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on Charleston Boulevard and Commerce Street injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 1:23 a.m. on Charleston Boulevard and Commerce Street.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a 2005 Honda Accord traveled west on Charleston Boulevard approaching Commerce Street. Then, the driver struck a pedestrian crossing Charleston Boulevard outside of the marked crosswalk.
After the crash, responders took the pedestrian to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the Honda driver stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
