1 Person Hospitalized in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street and V Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 29, 2024) – Saturday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on 4th Street and V Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:23 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and V Street.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a northbound dark-colored pick-up truck struck a female pedestrian who was in the roadway, outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries.
