Injuries Reported in Ventura Multi-Vehicle Accident on US 101 South and SR 126 East

VENTURA, CA (April 28, 2025) – Early Sunday, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on US 101 South and SR 126 East injured 5 people.

The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. when a wrong-way driver crashed with multiple vehicles on US 101 South, north of SR 126 East at “Lemon Curve.”

California Highway Patrol Ventura Area officers, along with the Ventura City Fire Department, responded to the scene.

Witnesses observed a white SUV traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. Shortly thereafter, a collision involving three vehicles was reported.

By 12:34 a.m., emergency responders confirmed that three vehicles were involved, with one individual trapped inside one of the vehicles.

Five patients were transported to the hospital, including one reported to be in critical condition.
It remained unclear whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident.
