2 Hospitalized in San Bernardino Traffic Accident on Highway 215 near 2nd Street

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 10, 2023) – Tuesday night, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Highway 215 near 2nd Street injured two people.

The incident happened on southbound Highway 215 between the 5th street and 2nd Street exit.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved multiple vehicles.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated a victim who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the female patient to a hospital with severe leg injuries. Also, responders transported a second patient, an elderly man, to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
