Injuries Reported in Antelope Valley Motorcycle Accident on Elizabeth Lake Road

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (February 27, 2025) – Sunday, a crippling motorcycle crash on Elizabeth Lake Road injured 1 person.

Around noon, the California Highway Patrol received reports of minibikes and off-road vehicles being driven recklessly, creating a hazard for the public. 

“Despite officers responding to many locations throughout the Antelope Valley area, participants in these activities repeatedly evaded law enforcement disregarded traffic laws, and put innocent motorists at risk,” CHP said.

A few hours later, at 3:35 p.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run crash on Elizabeth Lake Road near San Francisquito Canyon Road. Investigators determined that two minibike riders were traveling on the wrong side of the road when they collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Instead of staying at the scene, the minibike riders took off, leaving the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspects and are urging the public to come forward with any information. The CHP Antelope Valley Area office is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant details to call 661-743-6060.
