BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 22, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a crippling motorcycle crash on Edison Highway and Sterling Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. on Edison Highway and Sterling Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a car and a motorcycle collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital with major injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Edison Highway but has long since reopened.
