KERNS COUNTY, CA (February 26, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a crippling motorcycle crash on Downs Street and South China Lake Boulevard injured 1.
The incident involving a black Harley Davidson and a white Ram pickup truck happened at 5:09 p.m. at Downs Street and South China Lake Boulevard.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. A mother and two children in the truck were uninjured, though the car sustained significant damage to the left rear door, and the side curtain airbag deployed.
Both roads remained closed for an extended period while authorities cleared the scene.
The official cause of the crash was still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
