Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Bicycle Accident on 2300 Planz Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 1, 2023) – Sunday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on 2300 Planz Road injured 2 kids.
The incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of Planz Road near Planz Elementary School.
According to reports, three children rode bicycles east in the two-way left turn storage lane. However, a brown or gold possible Kia Forte hit them from behind.
As a result, two of the children were transported to a local hospital. One of them suffered minor injuries while another sustained life-threatening injuries.
