1 Person Hurt in Albuquerque Pedestrian Accident near Zuni Road SE and Indiana Street SE
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (March 11, 2025) – Saturday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash near Zuni Road SE and Indiana Street SE injured one person.
The incident happened around 8:40 p.m. near Zuni Road SE and Indiana Street SE.
According to reports, a car struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, the Albuquerque Fire Rescue rushed the victim to the University of New Mexico Hospital with broken bones. Then, authorities confirmed that the condition of the victim changed, and made a full APD’s Motor Unit call out, meaning the injured victim had serious to life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, the crash closed east and westbound Zuni Road at Indiana Street.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Albuquerque Police Department continued investigating the crash.
