2 People Hospitalized in Wittmann Auto Accident near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway

WITTMANN, AZ (April 28, 2025) – Sunday morning, a crippling hit-and-run crash near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway injured two people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 12:38 a.m. near 243rd Avenue and Sun Valley Parkway.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved two vehicles, including a car that rolled over during the incident. Then, a third vehicle struck the overturned car, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported two people, including one person with life-threatening injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
