RIO VISTA, CA (May 15, 2023) – Sunday, a crippling car crash on Highway 160 and Highway 12 injured 1 person.

The incident occurred on Highway 160 just south of Highway 12 near the border between Solano and Sacramento counties.

According to reports, a helicopter transported one person to a trauma center. Then, fire crews removed the driver from the wreckage and transported him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Also, four other people went under evaluation but were released at the scene.

Meanwhile, the incident temporarily shut down Highway 160 in both directions.
