PORTERVILLE, CA (September 11, 2024) – Monday night, a crippling bicycle crash on Newcomb Street injured one person.

Reports revealed that the incident happened on southbound Newcomb Street.

According to the Porterville Police Department, a car struck a northbound bicyclist who was traveling in the southbound lane for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported the bicyclist to Kaweah Delta Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, the driver of the car remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
