SOLANO COUNTY, CA (April 15, 2024) – Saturday morning, a crippling auto accident on Interstate 80 injured 1 person.

The incident happened on Interstate 80 in Solano County, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.

Suisun Fire Protection District and Fairfield firefighters both responded to the crash on westbound Interstate 80 near the scales around noon.

Also, the crash caused delayed traffic in the area for some time, and one person was transported to the hospital with “significant injuries,” said the Fairfield Fire Department.
