Injuries Reported in Johnson County Auto Accident on Missouri Route E

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (April 24, 2025) – Wednesday, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Missouri Route E injured 5 people.

The crash occurred when a 2012 Chrysler merged from the northbound lane and failed to yield to a southbound 2013 Ford.

The 18-year-old driver of the Ford and his 19-year-old passenger declined treatment for minor injuries. 

Three people in the Chrysler were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Johnson County: a 33-year-old man with moderate injuries, the 40-year-old female driver, and a 39-year-old male passenger, both with minor injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
