Ventura, CA (April 30, 2021) – A car struck a pedestrian in a crash on Thompson Boulevard and Hurst Avenue on Thursday night.
 
The incident took place on April 29 on Thompson Boulevard and Hurst Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
 
Ventura police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian.
 
According to the report, the pedestrian was crossing a poorly lit section of a street in the middle of the block.
 
Then, for unknown reasons, the vehicle traveling west down Thompson struck the pedestrian. As a result, the victim suffered major injuries from the collision.
 
Emergency personnel transported them to the hospital; however, there has been no update regarding their current condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped after the incident. Police said that the driver cooperated with the investigation.
