1 Person Hospitalized After Crash on Madison Avenue in San Diego
San Diego, CA (May 30, 2024) – Police arrested two people after a high-speed pursuit in the University Heights area ended in a crash on Madison Avenue late Wednesday night.
Around 10:15 p.m., San Diego Police officers attempted to pull over a white Mazda SUV for an unspecified traffic violation near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Florida Street.
Instead of stopping, the SUV sped away, leading officers on a chase.
The pursuit ended quickly when the SUV collided with another car.
Police apprehended the two occupants of the SUV, while the other motorist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
