Houston, TX (December 21, 2023) – On Thursday, an officer sustained injuries in a crash on Little York Road.

Houston Police Department units and Harris County Sheriff’s Office units participated in a major crash near Little York Road, originating from two separate chases. 

According to witnesses at the scene, a stolen vehicle being pursued by Houston police collided with a patrol car at an intersection.

Preliminary information indicates that Harris County Sheriff’s Office units were chasing another car, which also crashed into the initial Houston police incident. 

All individuals suspected to be involved are currently in custody. An officer, who was transported to the hospital, is expected to survive, according to officials.
