PANOLA COUNTY, TX (March 12, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, two deputies sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 315 near Farm to Market 1971.

The incident happened at around 2:13 p.m. on Highway 315 near Farm to Market 1971.

According to reports, a pickup truck rear-ended a marked Tahoe that was attempting to make a U-Turn. Also, officers confirmed that the deputies responded to a loose livestock call in the area when the incident happened.

Moreover, responders transported the two deputies to UT Carthage for treatment.

Furthermore, authorities cited the vehicle driver for failure to control speed.
