1 Person Dead after Crash on 99th Avenue in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (November 30, 2023) – On Thursday morning, one person died in a crash on 99th Avenue.
Reports of a serious crash near 99th and Peoria avenues, on the border of Peoria and Sun City, surfaced around 9:45 a.m.
Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies, arriving minutes later, confirmed that the wreck claimed at least one life and another individual was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Video footage from the scene depicted a green car severely damaged near a home and bus stop in the area.
MCSO Vehicular Crimes detectives are expected to have a heavy police presence around the intersection as they piece together the events leading up to the crash.
