2 Hospitalized after Motorhome Crashes on Interstate 80
Reno, NV (September 25, 2020) – A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 involving a motorhome left two people seriously injured on Wednesday.
The incident took place on the afternoon of September 23 on Interstate 80 near Derby Dam.
Based on a report, a motorhome was pulling an SUV on the road when suddenly, it lost control. Thus, the vehicle went into the center median of the roadway.
The crash left two elderly passengers of the motorhome with severe injuries. Care flight airlifted one of the patients to the hospital for treatments and the other was taken by ground ambulance.
Due to the debris from the crash, all eastbound Interstate 80 lanes were closed for a brief time.
