2 Injured in Fatal Huntington Beach Car Collision on 405 Freeway

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 4, 2020) – Last Thursday night, a car crash on 405 Freeway killed Spencer Sandridgee and injured two Caltrans workers.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Sgt. Michael Stoney, the incident took place on the southbound side of 405 Freeway, near Beach Boulevard.
 
Reports also revealed that the Caltrans workers were setting up an intended shut down. However, Spencer Sandridge who was driving a Dodge Dart collided with the sign truck and trailer.
 
The impact of the crash left the two Caltrans workers with injuries. When the medical responders arrived at the scene, they transported the injured to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities declared Dodge driver Spencer Sandridge dead at the scene.
 
Due to the collision, the authorities administered alternate routes and diverted the traffic off the southbound 405 Freeway at Beach Boulevard. Towing services were also requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained.
 
The authorities did not disclose further information but the crash remains under active investigation. Once available, further information regarding the collision will be released the to public.
